The Red Velvet cake here was a huge success and a true crowd pleaser. Aunt Pooey red velvet cake stole the heart of group of 20 people as luckily for me the cake I got came out freshed hot of the oven. The people at the gathering were non stop asking me if I made the cake and I had to continue to redirect them to the shop as they found cake so moist, warm and overall the best they ever had and was streaming with so many compliments of how delicious and good the cake was. I highly recommend you buy this cake for your next gathering of better yet try some of their small batch cakes as well. You will not regret it.

This place is a Yes, the women who greeted me at the door super nice. Everything was good and the banana pudding delicious the key is always to make your own pudding and she does just that 😌. I just wished I had a little more wafers. We also got pound cake and peach cobbler. Super yummy. Will be returning. I highly recommend and always good to support a small business

Had a delicious mini chocolate Bundt cake—vegan/dairy free, yet! Do take note that it’s takeout or delivery only. The super nice owner, Vincent, suggests checking out the pictures on their web site to see what they have. Well worth it.

Absolutely loved my visit to Aunt Pooey’s Sweet Tooth! I tried the Banana Moon Pie and the Peach Crumble, and both were fantastic. The Banana Moon Pie was the standout — creamy, light, and perfectly balanced. Not overly sweet, just the right touch of banana flavor with a smooth, fluffy texture. One of the best I’ve ever had. The Peach Crumble was equally impressive. Juicy, caramelized peach slices layered beneath a buttery crumble topping that elevated every bite. It tasted like summer in dessert form. Highly recommend this spot for anyone with a real sweet tooth — you can tell everything is made with care and flavor in mind.

Maybe we got them on an off night? But their reviews seemed almost too good to be true and after reviewing the listed ingredients and trying 3 items, I am just not sure about the hype. Banana pudding pound cake : probably the best of the 3, but only because the Banana glaze was good. True Banana flavor. But unfortunately the cake was dry and grainy and had an unpleasant artificial taste. It also leaked all over. But I don't blame the restaurant for that. Red Velvet cake : I am a red velvet connoisseur. And I am disappointed. It is a small round bundt style cake with just a drizzle of plain frosting. It is not authentic red Velvet. It is a chocolate cake with red food dye. It is dense and kind of dry and has no red velvet flavor. Which makes sense, because there is no buttermilk or acidity ingredient. Just red food color and chocolate. No cream cheese frosting. No layers. It was not the worst. But I couldn't eat it. Peach cobbler: This was the worst. It is absolutely not enjoyable. It was very soggy. Like all one texture. It actually tasted like overcooked apple. One bite and there was no way we could eat it. No buttery flaky crust, I am thinking canned peaches in syrup.
